Aloha Adventures: My Day 1 in Honolulu - Beaches, Burgers, and Shaved Ice!

Hey guys, let me spill the tea about my first vacay in, like, forever! After working non-stop, I was seriously in need of some R&R. So, I packed my bags and headed to Honolulu - talk about #vacationgoals!

Day 1 was a bit of a hot mess, not gonna lie. First off, I took a taxi to Waikiki from LAX - bad move, should've gone with rideshare! But, I finally checked into my hotel, Aqua Oasis, which was super cute and #budgetfriendly.

After dropping off my bags, I hit up the ABC store for some beach snacks. They had a huge selection of chips and water, and of course, some spam musubi because #Hawaiianessentials.

Next up was Waikiki Beach, and it did not disappoint. The sand was warm and the water was crystal clear. I spent the afternoon tanning and relaxing like the #beachbum I am.

I even went to the aquarium to feed the fish bread - it was kinda touristy, but also kinda cool. Plus, the fish were so colorful and cute!

For a late lunch, I had to try Teddy's Bigger Burgers. And OMG, it was the best Hawaiian burger I've ever had. The meat was juicy and the toppings were #freshaf. If you're a burger lover, this place is a must-try.

And of course, I couldn't leave Hawaii without trying some shaved ice. I grabbed some from a little stand on the beach, watched the sunset, and called it a day.

Overall, day 1 in Honolulu was DOPE af. Despite a few bumps in the road, it was so nice to finally take a break and enjoy some sunshine. And if you're ever in Waikiki, don't forget to check out Teddy's Better Burgers - #yummm!
